I was trawling the internet for an old computer (The BBC Micro) the other day. I was reading through the BBC Tomorrows World website - a very popular tv series in its day - and discovered the very first programme in 1965 was about kidney dialysis.
The film is available online at Tomorrows World - its near the start so you don't have to watch the whole episode.
I remember my wife talking about a dialysing on a Kiele machine for 12 hours every other day - not sure if its the same one though.

Hi I'm Russ. I set up Global Dialysis with my wife Val way back in 2000. Mainly so we could find places where Val could dialysis on holiday. We had a wondeful time together and this website is dedicated to her. Anyway, a bit about me, I'm a techy... I've been working in IT since 1982, mainly as developer. I love the outdoors, travelling, films and making people laugh. Oh and gadgets... I'm very fortunate to have Katy Draper on board to redevelop the website.
