LADIES at a Barnoldswick golf club raised over £800 for the dialysis unit at Skipton General Hospital.

Jean Mayor, last year’s lady captain at Ghyll Golf Club, presented a cheque for £815 to the unit.

Jean chose this as her charity for 2014 and the funds were raised by the ladies section at Ghyll through a variety of events, ranging from a pop-up shop, Christmas coffee morning and raffles.

The dialysis unit is close to Jean’s heart as her husband, Phil, who was president at Ghyll in 2008, is a patient at the unit.
