- FMC (Germany)
In January
2000, FMC acquired the international operations of Total Renal Care
adding 86 clinics and 5,100 patients to the existing 1,060 clinics and
78,500 patients.
- Gambro (Sweden)
At the close of the period (1999)
the total number of patients treated worldwide in 588 clinics owned,
operated or managed by Gambro was about 44,200

200 clinics in Germany serving 15,000 patients - approximately 30% of the

- Renal Care Group (US)
The Company
currently treats approximately 14,200 patients through 181 owned outpatient
dialysis facilities. On 24
Feb 2000, RCGI agreed to merge with Renal
Disease Management by Physicians, adding 6 clinics and 500 patients.
- Dialisi (Italy) specialises in
setting up temporary dialysis facilities or permanent facilities in
difficult places (including cruise ships, the world cup and currently
investigating the Vatican City)
- Stickman supplies capd equipment
(bag warmers, etc) for patients.
- Renal Group is a global supplier
for dialysis centres. By operating as a professional purchasing
co-operative, they aim to reduce costs and simplify the purchasing process
for dialysis unit administrators.

online patient records system specifically for nephrologists.
