You can usually book assistance for getting on and off planes at the airport. This will normally be wheelchairs at the departure and arrival airports. Ask your travel agent when booking. Also pre-book oxygen for the plane journey if you need it, some airlines don't make a charge but some will charge anything up to 300 UKP.

Note: Oxygen supplies are classed as an emergency treatment under the E111 within Europe. Although we have found it cannot be pre-arranged in Spain - to receive free oxygen supplies treatment, you will need to have a consultation on arrival, so the oxygen will not be immediately available.
