My dad has ESRD, chronic, dialysis three times weekly and I would like to take him to Shanghai - I was only able to find two comments on a clinic and would like to know more about how one contacts, gets access, pays, etc. at the clinics listed in Shanghai. 24/10/2005 Had 5 in Emo Dialysis Center Jiangsu Rd 796, bldg2, 1f. Big room, 30 beds, only first turn new sheets. All sterilized tools for single use opened at the last moment. Very competent nephrologist doctor, speaking English and E.D. competent nurses, some speaking English. Everybody very kind and friendly.

Used large associated state dialysis unit in late 2002. Friendly, competent English-speaking Nephrologists (nurses Mandarin only). Take alcowipes and lignocaine as necessary. About US$200. Exact HIV/HEP B/C or SARS hygene practice unknown.
