You are quite right Radek. My husband booked and paid for 6 dialyses but with a sudden deterioration of his health had to return home after three. He has died soon afterwards. I wrote (in French) to this lady but she did not even answer. On the positive side I have to say that the director Dr. Henry Fitte is a very nice person and a very caring doctor. The same can be said of one or two of the younger nurses.

Beautful situated in one of the small harbours.
Not easy to find by car the first time.
Expensive - about double compared to the rest.
Request pay in advance.Don´t take EHIC.
Normal good professionality. Doctors visit every treatment
Summery: When you can´t get any other place becourse you are late in booking. This is a possibility

Very difficult communication - even Ms. Bertacca's Englisch (director) is really very poor. Therefore, misunderstandings from her side cannot be avoid. Be careful with your payments: don't do any prepayments - if you have any changes or cancellations later, you won't see your money never again, the stand-by fees are even that high as the proper dialysis session!!! I would rather recommend to use dialysis services of the city hospital of Princess Grace - as of 2007 there will be a possibility of commercial dialysis there as well (Dr. Christophe Robino, a very nice person)!

After intervention by the consierge at The Hermitage Hotel, we finally got confirmation for dialysis. Unit was clean enough, but hot. Staff very laidback. Slow to act when I requested help when too much fluid off. Enough to put me off going back. Wouldn't phone a taxi at 11pm at night, although not in a 'passing' traffic area. Luckily my husband was with me.
